Suncity School has a beautiful campus spread over 5 acres of land, nestled against the backdrop of the picturesque Aravali. The school offers a choice of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Cambridge International Examination (CIE). The school envisages to develop thinking and caring individuals in an atmosphere which enables them to experience the epitome of finesse, culture and class to help benchmark only against the best in today’s competitive global ambience of knowledge and wisdom.
At Suncity School, girls and boys learn to live in healthy, co-existing learning environment for mutual respect to each other and do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of sex, religion, creed or class.
The school proposes to admit pupils from Pre-school to Class XII.
The school is essentially for day Scholars with added facility for extended hours.
Rupa Chakravarty is the founder Principal of Suncity World School and a teacher of English.She has been trained for ‘Leadership Strategies’ at IIM- Ahmedabad. She has also trained as an IB-Coordinator at Arizona, USA and for Handling of Adolescence Behaviours in Worcester, USA.
She has incorporated various innovative ideas in the school such as the unique methodology encapsulated as an acronym ASK to ASK-U. Under her able guidance the school has got the copyright for the 1st Multiple Intelligences Learning Centre in the world.
She has given presentations at various conferences in India and abroad - with countries ranging from Turkey, Srilanka, Mauritius, USA, Australia, UAE, Japan and the UK.
She was one of the Principals who helped to constitute the Handbook and Manual for school quality assessment and accreditation - SQAA. She has also been a master trainer for most of the trainings imparted by CBSE and the CBSE-International Curriculum such as - CCE, FA, Mentoring and Monitoring ,SQAA, Listening and Speaking skills (ASL) .
She has been training Principals and teachers abroad for three years on behalf of the CBSE to implement the CBSE international curriculum.
She is on the ‘Core committee’ of reforms being implemented by the CBSE. The committees include -

She has played hockey at the STATE level and also represented her school at the district level in athletics and won medals. She has been a much awarded actor ; having also won the prestigious Jaycee’s talent hunt ‘Best actor’ award. She has also won various awards for her work.
Her ultimate aim is to work towards moulding ‘Able and Noble’ human beings.
