LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION
On the May day or labour day the entire housekeeping staff, Bus drivers, conductors, the maintenance staff and the nannies were served lunch in the school refectory by the student council members of the school. The lunch was sponsored by the Suncity Management. They thoroughly enjoyed the lunch and were deeply touched by the dedication, love and affection shown to them by the students. They thanked the student council members before leaving. The whole scene was really heart rendering and beautiful where each one learnt to respect each other and dignity of labour.
INTER -HOUSE TAEKWON- DO CHAMPIONSHIP
The importance of sports in our life cannot be denied and our school takes special care to provide such a platform to our children. The 2nd Inter House Taekwondo Championship was held on 19th April 2012.The categories were Sub Junior girls, junior girls, senior Girls, Sub Junior boys, Junior Boys and Senior Boys and the winners were Sainaa Uppal,Bhuvi Kataria, Avni Jain, Nein Goyal, Shaurya Pathak Kushal Girotra, Arnav SharmaRanvijay Singh and Gaurish Yadav respectively.

Admission forms for siblings JULY BATCH- session 2012-13 in Pre Nursery available on Wednesday 11th April 2012 and 12th April 2012 from 0900 hours till 1400 hours from school accounts. Date of submitting the form is Thursday, 12th April 2012 and Friday 13th April 2012. Downloaded forms to be registered on 11th / 12th April 2012.

Parents need to fill up a questionnaire in the school on the day of submission of the admission form. Admission forms along with questionnaires will be considered for further processing of admission.
LUNCH WITH PRINCIPAL
Winning becomes a strength when it is consistent and sustained. This quality and many more virtues were displayed by our Proud students during the academic session and for this they were chosen to have lunch with the Principal, Ms Rupa Chakravarty
on 16th March 2012.
Author's visit - Dr. Ken Spillman
Internationally well-known author Dr. Ken Spillman visited our school on 16th February 2012. Ken loves working with children and telling them stories. He believes that sparking a child's imagination is the best way to create lifelong learners and readers. The children had been apprised about the author's visit in advance and with the ongoing scholastic fair they got the chance to read his books.
CLASS XII FAREWELL
Farewells are forever but for us it was a first of its kind.
The Management, teachers and students of Suncity World School bid farewell to the Batch of 2012 in a function aptly named Adieu on 20 January 2012. The Chairman Mr. L.N. Goel graced the occasion and blessed the students.
The students of Class XI presented a cultural programme in the evening followed by title presentations. Mr. Vijay Rai, CEO. Powercon, and Mrs. Mandira Banerjee, an eminent educationist were the esteemed judges and selected Mr. and Miss Suncity after three grueling rounds of Potentiality Hunt, General Awareness and Aptitude Test.
Ayush Khattar and Vikhyati Singh were applauded as Mr. and Miss Suncity respectively. The Chairman and the Principal gave away the souvenirs to the breathless first batch of 'twelthies'.
The evening ended with a sumptuous dinner after which the students jived to their favourite music late into the night in the school auditorium as a DJ played on.
INTER SCHOOL SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP 2010
On 18th November our students went to Summer Field school Delhi to participate in the Inter school skating competition and brought us laurels by winning 2 Golds (Mehvish, Nandini), 1 Silver ( Tanisha ) and 1 Bronze (Ayush, Momina) medal.
On 20th November 11 and also at Ansal institute Skating tournament by winning 2 Gold (Krishna & Momina) and 2 Silver medals (Ayush & Tanisha)
1ST TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP
It was a great experience for our children to participate in 1ST TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIP HELD AT MANAVA RACHANA SCHOOL ON 5TH NOV'2011, Gurgaon. Our students did us proud by bagging 2 Gold Medals(ABHAY ANAND,SHAURYA PATHAK), 3 Silver Medal(REVANTH PAMIDI, ADVITI GAUTAM, HIRAN GOYAL)and 1 Bronze Medals(AVNI JAIN) for the school as they performed extremely well.
Boys State Gymnastics Championship
It's a matter of great pride & honour that gymnastics team participated in the Inter Centre Haryana State Gymnastics Competition held at Kurukshetra from 9th to 12th November 11. Our team secured the 3rd position in the championship (Yuvraj-IV, Aryan Mittal-III, Shubham verma-II, Kapil Singh-VI) We won total of 5 medals (4 Bronze and 1 Silver).
6th INTER HOUSE SOCCER TOURNAMENT 17TH NOV. 2011
With Formula-1 in the air and every Indian taking pride in hosting such a world class event, our Suncitizens are no less and are doing their bit by practicing and performing well . In the month of November, we witnessed the 6th Inter house soccer tournament. Arctic House bagged the first position in Junior and Indian House bagged the first position in senior.

Skating Competition
When determination is there nobody can stop us from achieving our goal. With the onset of the new session the very popular sport, Skating took off to a soaring high. Five of our children participated in the skating competition organized by Rajiv Gandhi Roller Skating federation on 1st May 2011 and did us proud by bagging 3 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze medal.

International Art competition
We participated in an International Art competition organized by Ryan International School in the month of July for which the result was declared recently. A student of Suncity, Gyan Sagar won the Silver Globe (2nd prize) in the middle category. It is a matter of pride for the school.
