The 18TH Inter-House Chess Championship was successfully conducted on 25th July 2025 at Suncity World School, under the vibrant theme of Jamboree, marking the school’s 20th glorious year. The event was graced by the presence of the Director, Mrs. Rupa Chakravarty, esteemed teachers, enthusiastic parents, and the school’s budding chess enthusiasts.

The event commenced on an inspiring note with a meaningful quote and a solemn prayer, invoking focus, integrity, and sportsmanship. Grouped into four categories, each player introduced themselves to the Director, who ceremoniously initiated the matches. The atmosphere was one of quiet intensity, as each move on the chessboard reflected deep thought, patience, and strategy.
