As part of our experiential learning approach, the children of EYP3 embarked on an educational outing to ‘Nature's Nest – The Petting Farm.’ The objective of this visit was to provide children with hands-on experience of interacting with farm animals, nurturing empathy and enhancing their understanding of the natural world.

During the visit, the children thoroughly enjoyed the unique opportunity to pet and feed a variety of animals, including ducks, turkeys, goats, calves and guinea pigs. With excitement and curiosity, they observed the animals closely and learnt about their habits and needs. Feeding the animals brought immense joy to the children while also instilling in them a sense of care and responsibility toward living beings.

The outing proved to be an enriching and memorable experience. It not only broadened the children's horizons but also encouraged them to appreciate the importance of kindness, compassion and respect for animals. The day concluded with happy smiles, shared laughter and meaningful learning that extended far beyond classroom walls.
