Suncity School is proud to announce the outstanding achievement of Dhruvansh Sethi of Grade VII-A, who delivered a remarkable performance at the 1st SRM International Open FIDE Rapid Rating Chess Tournament 2026, held in Sonipat on 2nd August 2026.

The tournament witnessed the participation of 462 players from across the country, making the competition highly challenging and competitive.

Demonstrating exceptional strategic thinking, concentration, and composure, Dhruvansh secured the 1st Position in the Under-12 Category, bringing laurels to the school.

His remarkable achievement is a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and passion for the game of chess. Competing against some of the finest young players, Dhruvansh displayed outstanding skill and determination throughout the tournament.
